All children showed superb strength and never gave up with many of the children beating the place they came in the last race. Didn’t our new sports t-shirts look smart! We look forward to the third race on Wednesday 13th December and the fourth race in January.

Our first game was against Outwoods, it was a close match but we sadly lost 1-0. Luckily, Oscar B saved 8 shots during that match.
During the second game, Oscar S crossed the ball into the box then Dougie finished it off to score our first goal.
For the last game, Alfie scored his first ever goal and Teddy nearly scored from a goal drop kick but unfortunately the other team scored making it 1-1.
Overall, we came 6th place, but all of the games were very tight and the whole team played exceptionally well for the whole tournament.
Action Shield Team.

I also took part in the chest bounce which was fun and amazing. Javelin throwing and the triple long jump was also incredible. As a team, we did many more things that were equally as exciting,' Korlie.

Netball Team
The Year 6 Netball Team played in a High 5 Tournament at the Polesworth School on Wednesday. They won two games, drew a game and lost two games. Yet again another sports team who were a credit to Birchwood!
