The BBC has launched an education package across TV and online, featuring celebrities and teachers, helping to keep children learning at home and supporting parents.

Launch of the Oak National Academy online classroom and resource hub
The sector-led Oak National Academy has launched its online classroom and resource hub. The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for schools to use, across a broad range of subjects. The lessons cover children in Reception through to Year 10 and are free to use by both teachers and young people.

The fire service visited Elm class today and taught us how to prevent a fire from starting and what to do if we should ever be caught in a fire.
Yew 6 have loved becoming 'computers' working at Bletchley Park. As part of maths week last week, we have learnt the importance of decrypting during WW2 and have worked hard to encrypt and decrypt our very own messages.
Well done to our Year 6 indoor athletics team, who did brilliantly during the competition today. They tried their best and cheered each other on. What a fantastic team! We can't wait to find out where we came compared to the other schools.
Hazel one had a visit from the fire service today. They taught us how to stay safe in case of a fire. We learnt to ‘stop, drop and roll’, we learnt that we should always have a grown up with us when using the cooker and we got to try on some of their uniform! 👩🏼🚒🚒🧑🏼🚒
As part of anti-bullying week, Year 1s Now Press Play experience allowed us to think about bullying and what can be done to overcome it so that we can all work together and be friends.
Y3 - Have had a fantastic day learning about the Old Stone Age and Middle Stone Age, Neolithic Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. They became archaeologists excavated some exciting artefacts, created their own Stone Age jewellery, created a piece of pottery & weaved animal fur.
Active maths for #mathsweek2022 today as Reception children raced each other. Practising ordinal numbers has never been so fun!
