We now have the pleasure of inviting grandparents back into our school every half term for our Grandparents Lunch. At Birchwood, we understand what an important role grandparents play in their grandchildren's lives and this opportunity allows a group of them to come in to our school and see it in action. Last Friday we welcomed some grandparents in and gave them a tour of our brilliant school. They then spent some time in their grandchild's classroom, learning a range of subjects, from road safety to French. After that, they joined us in the hall to enjoy a school dinner cooked by our wonderful lunchtime staff. This was followed by an afternoon of Christmas crafting with their grandchild, making snowflakes, Christmas trees and reindeer boxes. We hope that all of the grandparents enjoyed their day with us, and we look forward to welcoming another group in the new year.
